Heather has been involved in the events management and speaking industry since 2008, having worked on a variety of projects in her time, including some of the leading events in Southern Africa – The HPASA Healthy Living Expo, the 6th SA AIDS Conference, Success Summit and National Achievers Congress 2013.
Some of her most memorable speaking experiences include speaking at The Business Opportunities and Franchise Expo in September 2014, as well as sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed author and speaker Dr. John Demartini at a variety of his public based talks around South Africa.
Heathers journey through her personal growth is the one that is possibly the most engaging. From a house wife to a struggling divorcee working multiple jobs to make ends meet, to a chance interview that ignited her path upwards through the ranks in Events Management, to discovering an event concept that sparked her interest in running her own business – Heathers experiences are so raw and real, that she instantly touches a cord with her audiences.
She manages to inject her unique sense of humour and basic “realness” in to any topic she speaks or writes on, and she most specifically enjoys interacting with woman’s groups, and sharing on topics that she enjoys – like travel, and food.
Relating her experiences and learning’s in a way that assists others to make a change, whether big or small, in their own lives is really important to Heather.
Heather’s passionate love of the events industry, and all things food and lifestyle have set her up as one of the most well known bloggers in South Africa
“I found myself again – and that, is possibly the most important thing of all.”
