I think this is quite an awesome idea! In the spirit of Ubuntu and the special emotional bond each family member shares with their domestic workers, NetFlorist have realised the need to celebrate the happy helpful service of our domestic workers. From starting dinner when you were running late or helping your kids get dressed while you were on a call, cleaning our homes and kissing better “ouchies”, they knew you couldn’t be thankful enough for the extra pair of hands, eyes and ears.

“It is time that we show real appreciation and love towards our happy helpers, after all, they ensure that we are house proud, they keep our tummies full, our gardens ready for a Sunday braai, let us know when our pets are not well and keep a close eye on all our loved ones without having to be asked. These are our truest family members”, says Ryan Bacher, Managing Director.

So celebrate the first week of November by thanking your treasured domestic worker with a heartfelt gift. Be it a snack hamper filled with tantalising treats like Lindt chocolates, caramelised nuts and dried fruit or a personalised bright blue winter gown or even a well-deserved bath and body relaxation basket, our gifts are guaranteed to make your domestic worker feel like a silky sponge of luxury.

NetFlorist has even thrown in freshly baked gourmet cakes and cupcakes in a variety of flavours like ‘Guilty Pleasure’ chocolate, strawberries and cream and the classic vanilla sponge. Let’s not forget the long lasting seasonal plants, their best-selling personalised mugs and many other treasured gifts within their Domestics Workers’ Week range.
